Rules of conduct economic information agencies
Creditreform, like other Swiss economic information agencies, has agreed on rules of conduct containing binding guidelines for the processing of personal data. These rules of conduct covers not only the compliance of the economic information agencies with the provisions of the Act on Data Protection (FADP), but also specifies what types of data they are allowed to store and for how long. In doing so, the economic information agencies take into account public concerns about data processing and storage, while at the same time recognising the importance of creditworthiness information for consumers and the Swiss economy.
